I join Miller to discuss the use of fandom in therapy work. We geek out to LARP, literature, and Steven Universe. I talk about the history of psychology and fandom, particularly the connection between Jung and Joseph Campbell's Hero Journey, and it's impact on modern pop culture. We also discuss the role fandom and geek culture has played in the queer community, and how that work comes into my queer client base.
